Hailing mostly from Chatham and Orange county, movement and fitness have been significant aspects of who I am for most of my life. I fell in love with competitive swimming at an early age and competed at a varsity level through high school and college. I was first introduced to the weight room as a college athlete and loved how it made me feel! Post college, I found CrossFit and immediately connected with the community and ethos of the sport. I began coaching in 2015 and haven't looked back. Over the last 10 years, I believe CrossFit has made me the most capable version of myself and has stoked my passion for other athletic pursuits, from competing in sprint triathlons and Half-Iron-man to enduro and cross-country mountain biking!
I enjoy coaching because I genuinely love watching people discover their own love and passion for movement! Fitness should be equally fun and challenging and it should be built for everyBODY. Whether someone has worked out their entire life, or is finding fitness for the first time, I am passionate about meeting the individual where they are. As a coach, I think one of my greatest responsibilities is to create a safe environment where exercise is accessible to all!
